During my recent business trip to Chidambaram, I had the pleasure of staying at Arudhra Residency. This hotel, chosen by my director, truly delivered a relaxing and wonderful experience. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable, and I was impressed by the variety of recreational opportunities offered. The well-maintained swimming pool provided a refreshing break from work, and the fitness center allowed me to stay active during my stay. the on-site spa offered rejuvenating treatments, adding an extra touch of luxury to my visit.
The only minor issue I encountered during my stay was related to the payment process.

The guestrooms at Arudhra Residency were absolutely fantastic! The room had 24-hour room service and air conditioning, making it super convenient and comfortable. The private bathroom was fully equipped with a shower and free toiletries, and some rooms even had a balcony and a seating area with a flat-screen TV. The showers with rainfall showerheads and complimentary toiletries gave a luxurious touch. The triple room had tile/marble flooring, and all the rooms had complimentary bottled water and ceiling fans. The soundproofing in the triple room was an added bonus. The double room even had a sofa! As a trekker, I appreciate the attention to detail and comfort in these rooms.
The only thing I liked less about the guestrooms at Arudhra Residency was the fact that some units were air-conditioned. It's just a personal preference, and I know others might still find it enjoyable.

We had a pleasant stay at Arudhra Residency Villa. the hotel's location was excellent, being very near the temple, allowing us to witness the daily rituals and activities. the hotel itself was small but clean, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Though the room was small, it was adequate for our needs, and the bucket shower option provided us with hot and plentiful water. the bed linen, although slightly worn, was clean.
The lack of parking or drop-off area at the hotel. We had to carry our luggage for two blocks, which was inconvenient.

The location of Arudhra Residency was unbeatable, just a stone's throw away from the temple. We were able to easily participate in the temple festivities and return to our comfortable and clean room at a decent hour. The staff member who helped us with our food arrangements was extremely courteous and helpful. The room itself was well maintained and the bedding was comfortable. Despite a few drawbacks like an old and uncomfortable toilet seat, the overall experience was pleasant. I would recommend this hotel for its excellent location and helpful staff.

The location of the hotel was spot on! It was incredibly convenient, being just a stone's throw away from the main attraction. Plus, the fact that we could easily walk to the temple made our stay even more enjoyable. the staff were courteous and helpful, going out of their way to pick us up from the main road when our taxi dropped us off.
The porter was not very accommodating and seemed to be more interested in receiving tips rather than providing a good service. It was also a bit inconvenient that there were limited facilities in the room, such as the absence of an iron and hair dryer.
